Our Preparation for Higher Education (PHE) students, who are studying on the foundation year of our BA Interdisciplinary Studies degree, recently visited the Vue Cinema to watch a televised ‘live' interview with Russell Brand. The interviewer was Owen Jones and the focus was on Brand's new book; Revolution. For many of the students this was the first time they had interacted with politics on this level, and their usual visits to the cinema were to watch the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
