With our Spring into Summer programme beginning in only one week's time the excitement is building in the LLC as we prepare for the start of this year’s programme of nine six-week courses and three one-off events. The programme kicks off on Monday 9th June with the two courses Islam: Beliefs Practices and Traditions and King Arthur: Medieval Myths to Modern Motifs running in the evening, followed on subsequent days by courses in the areas of creative writing, science, language, art appreciation and literature. We're now less than three weeks from the start of our 2014 Spring into Summer programme and are working hard to ensure that everything comes together in time for the week beginning 9 June! Following months of planning I am delighted to announce that registration for our 2014 Spring into Summer programme is now open! Aimed at adults of any age, this annual programme of learning-for-pleasure courses and events provides participants with an opportunity to widen their interests, develop their creativity and increase their cultural knowledge.
