Calling adult learners: are you thinking about university?

The Lifelong Learning Centre would like to invite you to our 2017 Adult Learner Summer School at the University of Leeds.

Participants will have the chance to:

  • Explore a range of subject areas through informal taster sessions
  • Find out more about your options for work and study and the financial support available at university
  • Explore a taste of university life and explore the campus
  • Meet other adult learners

This Summer School is for you if:

  • You are not studying at the moment but would like to know more about Higher Education
  • You are studying at Level 2 or 3 (e.g. GCSE / NVQ Level 3 etc.) and have an interest in progressing to university;
  • You do NOT have a degree from the UK and are NOT currently studying for an Access to HE diploma.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We can provide childcare and also have a limited budget to help with transport costs – please contact Greg Elliott to discuss this further.

Learners from previous Summer Schools said:

Very inspiring, I really enjoyed the three days. I learnt a lot of things I didn’t know and it was really fun.

I feel very motivated, I have had my questions answered and barriers have been removed

The Summer School encouraged me to fulfil my dreams and explained all the paths to get into university

Please be aware that by applying for the Adult Learner Summer School using the form below you are only registering your interest – we will be in touch to confirm if we are able to offer you a place at this event.
