Want to learn how the process of science informs our understanding of the world?
Like to explore how scientists ask questions and contribute to scientific knowledge?
Come and see how science works and take part in hands-on laboratory activities at this FREE taster day at the University of Leeds!
This day is an opportunity:
- To learn about pathways to studying science, including the one-year Science Foundation programme which can lead on to Science, Engineering or Healthcare degrees at the University of Leeds
- To meet tutors and mature students and find out more about studying at university
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
We have a limited budget for pre-school childcare in the University nursery. Please provide details of your requirements when you book your place and we will contact you to discuss these (parents needing to leave early to collect children from school are welcome to do so).
I really enjoyed the labs, especially getting the chance to be hands-on. I learned a huge amount about science
Made me more confident and more relaxed about applying to university. It really helped talking to other students.
To attend this taster day you must book a place using the ticket form below. We will confirm your place by email before the event.
