Aimed at students who would like to look beyond their academic achievements, this free three day ‘outduction’ event hosted by the Lifelong Learning Centre will give you the tools in order to start developing your identity as a graduate of the University of Leeds.
This a three day event and will run from 9.30am – 2.30pm each day. Refreshments will be served from 9am.
Day one: Confidence building and reflective practice. What sets you apart from the crowd now that you have completed your undergraduate studies? Identify your skills, knowledge and attributes – perhaps some you didn’t even realise you had!
Day Two: What are your motivations and values and how can they help you plan your next steps – whether that be finding a job, thinking about further study or developing your skills further by volunteering.
Day Three: Meet former students to hear their stories. How did they feel when they left the University? What did they do next? What tips to they have to offer. And finally, we’ll help you to think through your own strategy for whatever your next steps may be.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
