If you’ve gained a place at university or college through Clearing, you now need to make sure your funding is in place for your course.

If you haven’t yet applied for any funding you need to apply now, as it take a minimum of six weeks to process your application (longer if any complications arise). You need to apply online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance.

If you’ve already applied for student finance but your course, university, college or tuition fee loan amount have changed due to the Clearing process, you need to tell Student Finance about the changes. There is no need to ring; you can do this online. Log in to your online student finance account and change your application details at www.gov.uk/studentfinance. Go to Your Account, then click Change Your Application, then University/College and Course.
