The University of Leeds is committed to opening up the campus to the local community, and to support this commitment the Lifelong Learning Centre delivers events and short courses for people from all kinds of backgrounds.
The Lifelong Learning Centre provides courses, events and activities that engage people from all kinds of backgrounds and make the University more accessible to them. Our on-going programme of public engagement activities comprises three main strands:
Spring into Summer
In 2011 the Lifelong Learning Centre launched its annual Spring into Summer programme of learning-for-pleasure courses, workshops and free events.
For details of what we have delivered previously, please have a look at the Spring into Summer Archive.
Our Seminar Series is an ongoing series of one-off events which aim to increase knowledge and awareness of current research and thinking in areas relevant to our foundation level and undergraduate programmes. For the latest information on the Seminar Series please see our Seminar Series pages.
