Zoë Enstone

Zoe Enstone

I teach across the core modules of the interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities Foundation Year and lead on our modules on the English Renaissance and Image, Music and Text.  I support students with their studies throughout their time in the LLC and their progression to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures.  I’m involved in pedagogic developments for the programme and programme management processes such as admissions and student support.

My research background is in English Literature, with a PhD that explored magical women in medieval romance.  My research interest include interdisciplinary medieval and early modern studies, with a focus on transition and transformation.  I’m also interested in pedagogic research, especially in relation to interdisciplinary and integrated academic development.  I have a teaching aware from the University of Leeds (ULTA2) and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
