Leeds University Union host around 200 events and sessions that give you the opportunity to make new friends and get a taste of what their clubs and societies do.
It’s often difficult though to take the first steps to try something new if you haven’t done it before – especially if you’re on your own or generally don’t know what to expect. That’s why the Lifelong Learning Centre have handpicked a selection of some of the best Give it a Go sessions over the next few months for us to try together. We’ve even covered the cost where applicable so you can dive right in. And don’t worry, we haven’t tried these activities before either so you won’t be alone and won’t be out of place. We’ll all be giving it a go together!
STAR Saturday: Come join us help asylum seekers and refugees with their English conversation skills. A free meal is included. You get to meet lots of new people and learn a lot about other people in the community!
Please let us know in advance if you are planning on attending. To book your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and student ID number or leave your details with the LLC reception and we’ll get back in touch to confirm your place, as well as sending out details of where to meet.
