It hardly seems possible, but the University’s June Open Days are imminent. Here at the Lifelong Learning Centre we are looking forward to welcoming visitors tomorrow (18th June), Friday and Saturday (21st and 22nd June).
The final preparations are now underway; we are open on all three days and visitors can drop in to see us anytime between 9.30am – 3.30pm when staff and students will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding Foundation Year study, studying part-time or returning to study as a mature student. Alternatively, you can attend one of our scheduled talks which will go into more detail about these topics. If you already know which programme you are interested in, then our subject-specific talks are for you: these cover our Foundation Year programmes (Arts and Humanities, Business and Science) and our new interdisciplinary degree, BA Contemporary and Professional Studies. Don’t worry if you haven’t already booked a place, you will be more than welcome to turn up on the day.
In addition to visiting us, the Open Days provide an excellent opportunity to visit departments and find out more about the subjects on offer and the facilities across the institution, including the students’ union, sports centre and library. Why not visit the University’s dedicated Open Day web pages and download the guide to plan your day.
We look forward to seeing you this week, now back to the preparations….
