With the historic vote on Scottish independence nearly upon us, we’ve made some videos available from an event we held at the University back in June – The Scottish Referendum: The End of Britain?
We hope you find these clips illuminating as the media coverage intensifies in the lead-up to the vote. In his talk Dr David Seawright from the School of Politics and International Studies outlines the changing relationship between Scotland and England from the Act of the Union to the present, whilst Dr Dan Coffey and Dr Iain Clacher from Leeds University Business School debate the economic case for and against independence.
