Lifelong Learning Centre

Students with dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities

The Lifelong Learning Centre provides specialist support for students with dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities to assist them in meeting their academic goals. If you have been told that you may be dyslexic, but have yet to be assessed, we can assist you with a preliminary screening. We also provide provisional interim dyslexia learning support from our Specific Learning Difficulties Support Tutor whilst you are going through the diagnostic process.

If you are not a Lifelong Learning Centre student or an undergraduate over the age of 21 you will need to get in touch with your disability contact for your school or department – you can find a list of these contacts here.

Alternatively, Disabled Students’ Assessment and Support (DSAS) offer useful information for students with disabilities that can be accessed here.
